This alluring land always makes us nostalgic, immersing us in a pristine, peaceful, and poetic landscape with misty, ethereal spaces, towering mountain ranges reaching the sky, treacherous mountain passes, and breathtaking terraced fields.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE PROGRAM
- Witness the UNESCO Global Geoparks of Dong Van Stone Plateau and Non Nuoc Cao Bang, renowned for their magnificent and unique landscapes in Vietnam.
- Conquer the treacherous Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the "Four Great Passes," and the Nho Que River Gorge, the deepest in Vietnam.
- Explore the cultural beauty of the H'mong, Dao, Lo Lo, Tay, and other ethnic groups.
- Visit the Lung Cu Flagpole, the northernmost point of the country.
- See Ban Gioc Waterfall, the fourth largest waterfall among the top ten biggest waterfalls in the world, straddling the Vietnam-China border.
- Explore the Pac Bo Historical Site, the cradle of the Vietnamese revolution.

Day 1: Ha Giang (Meals: L, D)
Morning:
- The car and guide will pick you up at the designated meeting point and depart for Ha Giang – a region known for its Shan Tuyet tea, honey wine, and Thang Co, as well as its peach blossoms, pear flowers, buckwheat flowers, and vibrant traditional markets.
Noon:
- The group will continue the journey to Ha Giang City, have lunch, check into the hotel, and rest.
- The car will take you to visit:
- Milestone Zero – Ha Giang City, where the group will stop for a commemorative photo.
- Khuoi My - Na Thac Village: Along the way, you can admire traditional stilt houses covered in moss standing out amidst terraced fields on the edge of the Tây Côn Lĩnh range, the most majestic and highest mountain range in Ha Giang. You will also have the opportunity to delve deeper into the culture, such as Dao weddings or the "cap sac" ceremony, and experience daily life activities like picking cardamom and Shan Tuyet tea.
Evening:
- Overnight stay in Ha Giang.
Day 2: Ha Giang - Dong Van (Meals: B, L, D)
Morning:
- After breakfast and check-out, the group will depart for the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, recognized by UNESCO as the first global geopark in Vietnam, spanning four districts: Quan Ba, Yen Minh, Dong Van, and Meo Vac. Along the way, the group will stop to visit:
- Quan Ba Heaven Gate
- Tham Ma Pass
- Sung La Village
Noon:
- Lunch at a restaurant.
Afternoon:
- After lunch, the car will take the group to continue the tour:
- King of H'mong's Palace – Located in a valley in Sa Phin Commune, this is the home of the wealthiest and most influential family in Dong Van.
- Lung Cu – At the Lung Cu Flagpole, the red and yellow star flag, measuring 54 square meters, represents the 54 ethnic groups flying over the northernmost land of the homeland.
- Check into the hotel in Dong Van for rest.

After dinner, you are free to explore Dong Van Old Town at night. The town features distinct Chinese architectural styles with two-story houses with yin-yang tiles, high-hanging red lanterns, a night market, and local highland specialties such as Old Town coffee, Au Tau porridge, Thang Co, Men Men, and corn wine.

Overnight stay in Dong Van.
Day 3: Dong Van - Bao Lac - Cao Bang (Meals: B, L, D)
Morning:
- Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. The group will visit and conquer Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the “Four Great Passes” in Vietnam. Enjoy the breathtaking views and take photos among the blooming flowers (cherry blossoms, apricot flowers, pear flowers, buckwheat flowers, etc.) and experience the most beautiful curves on the “Happiness” road. From here, you can admire the Que River flowing like a green silk ribbon through deep gorges, flanked by towering cliffs.
Noon:
- Lunch at a restaurant.
- Continue exploring the Northeast by conquering Khau Coc Cha Pass.
Afternoon:
- The car will take the group to Cao Bang City, check into the hotel, and relax.

In the evening, you are free to visit and shop in Cao Bang City, trying local specialties such as hot chestnuts, Phia Den cellophane noodles, roasted duck, and rolled cakes.

Overnight stay in Cao Bang.
Day 4: Cao Bang – Trung Khanh (Meals: B, L, D)
Morning:
- After breakfast at the hotel, the car will take the group to Trung Khanh to visit Ban Gioc Waterfall. Take photos with the sacred national sovereignty milestone.
Noon:
- Lunch at Ban Gioc.
Afternoon:
- After lunch, continue to visit:
- Khuoi Ky Stone Village
- Ngon Ngao Cave
- Phuc Sen Blacksmith Village
Evening:

Return to Cao Bang City. Dinner at a restaurant.

In the evening, you are free to explore and shop in the city center, especially for chestnuts and Phia Den cellophane noodles.

Overnight stay in Cao Bang.
Day 5: Cao Bang - Pac Bo Cave - Ba Be (Meals: B, L, D)
Morning:
- Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.
- The car will take you to visit the Pac Bo historical site, where President Ho Chi Minh lived and worked during the resistance years from 1941 to 1945. Take commemorative photos at Lenin Stream - Marx Mountain, visit Coc Bo Cave, and take photos at Milestone Zero on Ho Chi Minh Road.
Noon:
- Lunch at a restaurant.
Afternoon:
- Head to Ba Be Lake.
- Check into the hotel in Ba Be – Bac Kan and relax.
Evening:

Participate in a campfire program with cultural exchange or enjoy performances of Then singing and bamboo dance by the Tay people with unique songs and dances of this poetic river and mountain region.

Overnight stay in Ba Be.
Day 6: Ba Be (Meals: B, L)
Morning:
- Breakfast at the restaurant, followed by relaxation and enjoying the lake scenery in the early morning mist.
- Board a boat to visit Ba Be Lake. From Buoc Lom pier, take a boat ride along the Nang River, passing through Puong Cave to reach Ba Be Lake. Explore the daily life of the Tay people, admire the beauty of the river and mountains of Ba Be, and visit famous sites such as Fairy Pond, An Ma Temple, and Ba Goa Island.

Check out and have lunch at a restaurant.

The group will depart for the initial pick-up point, stopping en route at a rest area to shop for local specialties as souvenirs for family and friends.

TOUR PRICE FOR CHILDREN: Age will be calculated based on the year.
- Children under 5 years old, sharing a bed with parents, tour is free. However, 2 adults can only accompany 1 child under 5 years old (sitting on parents' lap), for each additional child, an extra charge of 50% of the tour price will apply.
- Children aged 5 - 9 years, 70% of the tour price.
